@EN DNase I footpriniting and methyation interference studies, as well as gel shift analysis, were performed to study protein factors involved in the muscle-specific expression of the quail fast troponin I gene. The results of these studies,
together
with DNA transfection analysis, suggest the involvement of three protein factor such as MyoD1, CArG and AP-2 in muscle-specific gene expression.
